1. How do I apply? You will need to fill out a two-page application form which you can obtain by calling any of the offices or by downloading the PDF file. To do this please click on the link below: Elm Court application Once you have returned it to the office for the site you are interested in, your application will be reviewed and if you are eligible, you will receive a letter confirming that you have been added to the waiting list. 2. How much is the rent? Rent varies based on the size and number of rooms in the apartment. This also varies from year to year, and this information can also be obtained from the Fact Sheet. |
3. How do I know if I qualify? Applications are screened by each Management Office to be sure that the prospective tenant(s) qualifies. They look for accurate, verifiable information on earnings, that you have a valid Social Security number and are a US citizen or have legal immigration status. Once your application reaches the top of the waiting list, you will be invited to meet with the Manager to do a preliminary certification. 4. What is the Certification Process? The certification process consists of a meeting where you show the Manager your financial documents such as Social Security cards, birth certificates, your Federal income tax form for the prior year, W2 tax forms, pay stubs, financial statements for all checking, savings and investment accounts, information on Certificates of Deposit, stocks, bonds, rental properties, etc. You will also be asked to provide information on your employment and present and past residence. The Manager will conduct a background check which includes criminal and credit searches. 5. How do I get there?
